Good to know.

How much does a typical landscaping project cost? +
Costs vary by size and materials, but a basic interlock walkway typically runs $4,000–$8,000, a full backyard patio install is $15,000–$45,000, and a complete design-build transformation usually lands between $50,000 and $150,000+. We give you a fixed written quote after the free consultation so there are no surprises.
How far in advance do I need to book? +
For spring/summer install slots, we typically book 6–10 weeks ahead. Fall installs (great for hardscape — better material pricing) usually book 3–4 weeks ahead. Snow contracts must be signed by mid-October. Emergency tree removal we handle within 48 hours.
Are you insured? +
Yes. We carry full liability coverage, WSIB on every crew member, and tools/equipment insurance. Certificates available on request before any work starts.
Do you take a deposit? +
Standard residential projects require no upfront deposit — you pay 50% at material delivery and 50% at project completion. Larger commercial contracts may include a milestone payment schedule, laid out clearly in the quote.
What's covered under the workmanship warranty? +
Our workmanship warranty covers any failure due to installation — settling beyond tolerance, shifted pavers, retaining wall movement, drainage issues. It's separate from manufacturer material warranties (which we also register on your behalf).
Can you match an existing landscape style? +
Absolutely. We've matched everything from heritage estates to modern minimalist builds. Bring photos, drawings, or just point at the neighbour's yard you've always liked. Our designer works from there.
Do you handle the city permits? +
Yes. For projects requiring permits (retaining walls over 1m, drainage modifications, tree removals near property lines), we handle the entire permit application and inspection process. Cost is included in the quote.
What happens if I don't like the result? +
We don't ask for final payment until you're satisfied at the walk-through. If something's not right, we make it right — that's the whole point of the warranty.
